Helping others get connected to their heart is my game.

• I received a B.S. in Psychology at Tennessee State University, an HBCU that began opening my eyes and heart to the power of privilege.

• I received an M.A. in Couples, Marriage, and Family Therapy from Regent University which gave me an understanding and practice of the natural dynamics that come when two or more people are involved in a systemic setting (i.e. family, relationship, group, workplace, etc)

  • Spent three weeks in Ukraine helping future psychology leaders become equipped with listening/counseling skills in their future practices as well as showing me the power of a culture’s zeitgeist.  

  • Spent a year facilitating meetings with the leaders of my graduate program providing supportive and educational services to other members of the program.

• Worked for two years at a practice that worked with sex offenders which gave me more clarity on the privilege that exists within society that perpetuates the perceived gap and disconnection we have with each other.
